Welcome to THE Grace Christian Academy!

We welcome your family to or back to THE Grace Christian Academy. We look forward to partnering with you in nurturing, training, and educating your children as God prepares them for His plan for their lives.

During the 2016-17 school year, God truly blessed our school family to live up to its School Creed, to Make A Difference in their home, school, community, country and the world. Each class participated in a “Will You Make A Difference Project” that blessed many people around the world.

This year we have strategically placed THE in front of Grace Christian Academy. We are encouraging all Stakeholders to embrace our new active Mission Statement “Together, Helping Educate Every Student, Everyday and in Every way to Ensure College and Career Readiness.” The administration and teachers agreed to strive to meet this goal and the academic needs of its students. Recognizing that students vary in their abilities, the faculty and staff will provide a varied program as well as an atmosphere that will enhance learning. The old adage, “It takes a village to raise a child”, is true. We are asking each person (student, parent, relative, business partners, etc.) to join us as we truly live out the meaning of THE Grace Christian Academy family.

The administration, faculty and staff are engaging in a Salt Covenant to demonstrate our love and willingness to uphold this mission. The Salt Covenant is an old custom of agreement that was made when two men agreed or implementing a contract, by placing a small amount of salt from their pouch into a bowl or bag. It was a powerful statement that when you wanted to break this agreement you must retrieve your salt, which is impossible. You are welcome to participate anytime during the school year. The first opportunity for you to be a part of this Covenant is July 30, 2017, at our GCA Family service at 5:30 pm in the Sanctuary. You may bring a teaspoon of salt to place in a container. It’s not mandatory but an expressive demonstration of a family’s commitment.

Our Open House/orientation is Thursday, July 27, 2017. You may choose to come to the 4:00 pm session or the 7:00 pm session. We will begin each session with a brief meeting in the Sanctuary, located in the first building when you enter the property. At the conclusion of this meeting you will move to the school building, Building E to meet your child’s teachers. We will also have a representative from Chattahoochee Technical College to share information on Move On When Ready (MOWR) for our High School students. Her presentation will be at 6:00 pm in the Bible Room of Building E.

Our first day of school is Tuesday, August 1, 2017. School begins at 8:10 am; the doors opens at 7:45 am. Elementary dismissal is at 3:20 pm; middle and high school dismissal is at 3:30p.m.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if we may assist you in any way. Looking forward to seeing you at Open House.
