"Our school is part of this endeavor offering a balanced program geared to preparing young people for college."
Dr. David Maddox and his wife Vanessa have been married for over 40 years and have been serving in ministry since 1987. Dr. Maddox married his high school sweetheart while serving in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS John F. Kennedy aircraft carrier and upon completion of four years went back home to Clayton County, Georgia, and entered law enforcement with the Clayton County Sheriff’s Department.
He and his wife became active in church and answered God's call to the ministry and moved out of state to attend college at Victory Baptist College of N. Augusta, SC. Dr. Maddox has served as an associate pastor in three churches and has pastored three churches in Georgia and Arkansas. Dr. Maddox served as Dean of Students at Champion Baptist College of Hot Springs, AR. from 2004-2008. He was called on to help organize and begin this ministry that grew to several hundred students in a few short years. They have three adult children Joshua (wife Jane) Hawkinsville, GA. Andrew (wife Summer) Pulaski, TN. Lauren ( husband Shane) of Tupelo, MS. They have five grandchildren and the fifth on the way.
It is Dr. Maddox’s vision to lead the church and school to continued growth and excellence. His desire is to do all we do for the Lord first class. He has a passion to reach those who do not know Christ as well as disciple those who do and provide Christian education that will equip young men and women for the future. One of Dr. Maddox’s favorite quotes is from John Maxwell; “Teamwork makes the Dreamwork.”
