It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas

The Jingle War 2018 is under way. A competition has been sparked between our elementary, middle and high school departments. Each department is responsible for decorating an awning of the school building to spread Christmas cheer. Middle school got a jump start over Thanksgiving break when some very dedicated parents used their time and talents to kick off the competition. Elementary and High school need your help. It's not too late to donate decorations or volunteer time to help out. For more information contact the front office.

3rd Grade Field Trip to Chattahoochee Nature Center

On Monday, October 22, the third-grade class went on a field trip to the Chattahoochee Nature Center in Roswell, GA. As part of the Raptor Program, they hiked along the wetland trail, looking for signs of raptors and stopping along the way to learn about these amazing birds. After the hike, they had an up-close encounter with an adorable screech owl then took a walk by the enclosures that house many non-releasable birds of prey. They were thrilled to see hawks, owls, and bald eagles. In the Watershed Gallery in the Discovery Center they enjoyed interactive exhibits, live animal habitats, and hands-on fun.
