No-Cost Fundraiser For GBCS MissionsTrip!
Our Juniors and Seniors are busy planning their mission trip to Costa Rica. We are very excited to see what God has in store for these young people through this trip. We are already fundraising for this trip to help the students with the cost. Here is an exciting new fundraiser! It is called Scrip.
Scrip is simply a word that means “substitute money” – in other words, Scrip is gift certificates from national and local retailers. They’re the same gift certificates that you buy at the store. Many popular retailers participate in our Scrip program including Starbucks, Walmart, JCPenney, The Gap, Shell, Pizza Hut, Longhorn and many, many others.
The beauty of Scrip is that you put your regular household shopping dollars to work. You earn money for our school without spending a single additional penny. Just spend your regular shopping dollars with Scrip at the stores that participate! And Scrip can be used for just about any household purchase including food, clothing, entertainment, gasoline and dining out.
Here’s an example of how Scrip works! Let’s say every family in our school shops at Walmart and spends $100 per week. If those families gave us the $100, and we gave them a $100 Walmart gift card (Scrip) to use instead, we would raise $320 per week for the mission trip!! It’s that simple.
There are two ways to order scrip from us:
1. Print and fill out the PDF order form found on this page and return with payment by each Monday. We can only accept check or cash payments. Checks should be made payable to Grace Baptist Christian School.
2. Go to www.shopwithscrip.com and register to order online. You will need to set up an account and use our enrollment code. That code is: 118A555722299. Once you have registered with GBCS, you can place your orders online. Payment must be made by creating a PrestoPay account with GL Scrip. This account allows payment to be withdrawn from a checking/savings account. You cannot place orders with a credit card.
