Many of us have memories of being involved in athletics in our own personal educational experience. School spirit, camaraderie, and the challenge of competition are elements that can enhance personal student skills and the entire student body.
GBCS offers opportunities to its students to participate in a variety of team and individual sports at various levels of competition. As a member of the I.C.S.G.A.

- Fall: Football, Volleyball, and Cheerleading
- Winter: Boys and Girls Basketball and Cheerleading
- Spring: Boys Baseball and Girls Fast-Pitch Softball
GBCS is blessed to have an athletics program that is respected and has numerous regional and state championships. GBCS is also thankful that the athletics program encourages our students to put sportsmanship and character above all things as they compete with other students and schools within our conference.
