Elementary School
Grades K-5
The Elementary school of GBCS consists of students Kindergarten through Fifth grade. The core subjects include Bible, English, language arts, math, history, and science. GBCS uses proven methods of teaching academics. The Abeka curriculum is biblically integrated and incorporates foundation building, phonics, drills, problem solving, visual aids, and engaged learning in order to challenge our students both academically and spiritually. All subjects are taught using a well-planned curriculum guide containing the Georgia State Standards as well as Stanford 10 objectives.
Co-curricular classes offered are physical education, music, art, library, Spanish, rhythm band, and band in fourth and fifth grade. Field trips are offered at each grade level to enhance and enrich the curriculum.
